The leadership programme includes a wide spectrum of experiences (adventure, learning for life components and preparation for career entry) that allows students to mature, develop and learn essential life skills.

Leaders are not born; they are children who have had the opportunity to grow their leadership ability. It is our aim to give all learners such opportunities.

The course is supervised, action-packed, relevant and disciplined; it combines learning, fun, autonomy and guidance in an outdoor environment, and lays the foundations for establishing deep and solid friendships

Our ethos is to teach, train, develop, nurture, care and re-enforce basic values and morals required in today's fast paced world regardless of religion or race

We believe that everyone has the potential to be a leader and it is our mission to empower individuals, to use that potential

Eco awareness, adventure and education, combined with good mentorship will assist learners to reach that goal

On completing our short course we would like to believe that the participants will have a clearer picture of who they are, relative to each other and what unique contribution each participant can make in the global context

“Eco” found in both economy and ecology, means household or family in ancient Greek, the basic unit of organized life.

"Awareness" includes a clear inner and outer perspective, consciousness and vision
We specialize in teaching and integrating such wisdom, the ensuing inspiration and actions

We are at home in Eco Awareness, bio diversity practices, creativity sessions that will reconnect, yet, we also understand the need to be successful and accountable

We understand business, environmental science and sustainability practices, and we understand the cultural codes that underlie people's motivations

We assist with ideas and facts but most of all we help find your creativity and inspiration toward lasting positive change

SCHOOL ECO CURRICULUM

Additional to the experience is Grade 11 and 12 Geography and Biology (Life Sciences) curriculum driven tutorship, relevant to ecology

These are conducted by qualified teachers who strive to impart knowledge in a friendly and environmentally sound setting

Schools that have participated in this ecological tour have experienced positive results and feedback from the learners

The Geography and Biology tutorship curriculum has been well supported by Edenvale High School for the past couple of years
